These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AnyDocu website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
- Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse any part of the Service.
4. Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to documents and content you upload or create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use Your Content.
5. Subscriptions & Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice.
6. Electronic Signatures
The Service enables electronic signatures that may be legally binding under applicable laws such as the ESIGN Act and eIDAS. You are responsible for ensuring that electronic signatures are appropriate for your intended use and jurisdiction.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by AnyDocu and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnyDocu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AnyDocu operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
